Shipping policy

This Shipping Policy applies to all online purchases made through goskinmd.com, which is operated by Monika G Kiripolsky MD, Inc. (doing business as SkinMD). This policy does not apply to medical services provided by Dr. Monika G. Kiripolsky’s dermatology practice or any activities governed by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”). Orders placed through this site are for retail skincare and cosmetic products only.
Order Processing
Orders are processed and fulfilled by our third-party logistics (3PL) partner, Speed Commerce, located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Once your order is received, we typically process it within 1 – 3 business days (Monday – Friday, excluding holidays). During peak seasons or promotional events, processing may take slightly longer. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order has shipped.
Shipping Methods and Rates
We offer standard and expedited shipping options within the United States. Shipping costs and delivery estimates are displayed at checkout based on your location, order weight, and selected service level. Delivery times are estimated from the date of shipment, not from the order date, and may vary due to carrier delays or factors beyond our control.
- Standard Shipping (U.S.) — typically 5 – 8 business days after dispatch
- Expedited Shipping (U.S.) — typically 2 – 4 business days after dispatch
We currently ship to all 50 U.S. states. International shipping is available to select countries; duties and taxes for international orders are the responsibility of the recipient and are not refundable.

By placing an order, you acknowledge that your shipping and contact information will be securely transmitted to our 3PL provider for the purpose of order fulfillment, shipment, and delivery tracking. Speed Commerce acts as our authorized service provider and is contractually obligated to protect your personal information consistent with our Privacy Policy. No medical or patient information covered by HIPAA is ever shared with or accessible to our 3PL.
HIPAA Notice – Medical Branch vs. E-Commerce Branch
SkinMD (Monika G Kiripolsky MD, Inc.) operates both a dermatology medical practice and an e-commerce retail store. Orders placed on goskinmd.com are processed solely through our retail operations and are not part of your medical record. Any health or patient information collected in connection with clinical services is handled separately under HIPAA and is not used or shared for retail shipping or marketing purposes. Please do not include medical or treatment information when placing an order or communicating with our retail team.
Shipping Confirmation & Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive an email confirmation with tracking details. Tracking information may take up to 24 hours to update after the label is created. Please allow adequate time for carrier updates before contacting us regarding tracking status.
Delivery Issues & Risk of Loss
Once your order leaves our 3PL facility and is accepted by the carrier, the title and risk of loss transfer to you. We are not responsible for delays or loss due to incorrect shipping information, carrier errors, or uncontrollable events such as weather or labor disputes. Please confirm that your shipping address is accurate before submitting your order.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 14 days of delivery at info@goskinmd.com with your order number and photos of the issue. Once verified, we will send a replacement for the affected item at no cost. Please refer to our Refund Policy for additional details.
Shipping Restrictions
- We do not ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, freight forwarders, or reshippers.
- We do not ship hazardous, flammable, or aerosol products.
- We reserve the right to cancel or restrict orders that appear to violate our Terms of Service or export laws.
Failed Deliveries or Returned Shipments
If a shipment is returned to us due to an incorrect address, refusal, or failure to pick up, the customer will be responsible for any reshipping fees. Original shipping charges are not refundable. Returned packages will not be re-shipped automatically.
Order Changes or Cancellations
Because we process orders quickly, we cannot guarantee that changes or cancellations can be made once submitted. Please contact us immediately at info@goskinmd.com for assistance. We will make every effort to accommodate your request before fulfillment begins.
Compliance with U.S. and California Law
This Shipping Policy complies with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission Mail Order Rule (16 CFR Part 435), which requires sellers to ship within the time promised or 30 days if no time is stated, and with California Business & Professions Code § 17538 and related consumer-protection laws. If shipment delays occur beyond these timeframes, customers will be notified and offered the option to cancel for a full refund.
